Charlotte is one of the 10 fastest growing cities and the second largest banking
center in the USA, ranked only behind New York City. Over 320 foreign owned
businesses are located in the Charlotte area. In addition to being a large
economic center, Charlotte is known for its beautiful tree-lined streets,
numerous parks, golf courses and lakes.
Charlotte/Douglas International Airport serves as an international gateway to

people. Its climate is mild with temperatures ranging from 75°F
(25°C) in the autumn to 20°F (7°C)
in the winter. Some winter days are below freezing and there is occasional snow.
Summer is quite humid and some days have temperatures above 90°F.
